Before being acquired by Farmers Insurance Group, 21st Century Insurance (originally called 20th Century Insurance) offered auto insurance, primarily in California and Hawaii, and the design reflects these colorful parts of the country. The company’s playful, quirky brand is evident in its successful lifestyle-driven magazine that boosted retention among at-risk customers. A companion to the magazine, a unique glove box folder, encouraged customers to store their (beautifully branded) insurance materials and car care tips close at hand.
