It’s funny that what we value today as a specialty product was once known simply as printing. I learned this firsthand at The Center Press in Troy, NY, where I had my business cards printed. Kenneth Bonesteel, whose family has been running this small operation since 1960, is truly a master of his craft. It was so much fun to see him working on his beautiful Heidelberg press. He sets all the type by hand and uses Crane's Lettra 220 lb. recycled cotton paper. The result is a classic, handcrafted product with a succulent, hefty look and feel. My cards are exactly what I hoped they would be!
