Starbucks Reserve is a series of small-lot, exotic coffees available at most Starbucks shops. I was instantly drawn to the little cards that label each variety. The original artworks are created to tell the unique story of the farms and communities where the beans are grown. These postcard-size gems are colorful, gold-foiled and very appealing.
I mimicked the Reserve cards when I designed my sister’s wedding invitation. The simple composition is perfect for the no-frills celebration she's planning. And, like the artworks created for the coffee cards, this illustration reminds me of Lake Champlain in June. (It was generously made available for personal use by London-based artist, Luisa Rivera.)
