I recently designed a logo for a counselor that specializes in the treatment of trauma and chronic pain. Her practice is called Sugar Loaf Mental Wellness, named after a small mountain near her office in Upstate New York.
My client had a clear vision for her logo. In terms of imagery, she wanted to include the local mountain and rolling hills. She also mentioned that she admired minimal Japanese logos and wanted the logo to feel earthy and approachable. This was a fun collaborative project—the client really knew what she wanted.
